Plot Twist: The Tankmen World is Really Mars

Posted by Peonycreme - January 23rd, 2024

As you guys know, I am a fan of Tankmen and as I consume the content, I activated my galaxy brain and came to a realization….

Tankmen really takes place on Mars! Think about it!

First, the setting is IDENTICAL TO MARS’ SURFACE, look! From the yellow sky to the deserty landscape, it just screams Mars.

(I use Friday Night Funkin’ because it’s the best picture of the Tankmen setting)

Now, here’s a real life photo of Mars’ surface!

It’s a spitting image!

As much as I respect Johnny Utah and his work, I have to say, regardless of the fact he indirectly said Tankmen takes place on a post-apocalyptic Earth, I wholeheartedly believe that it’s actually Mars and Mr. Utah unintentionally created an alien society on Mars.

So, yes, I strongly believe the Tankmen are really Martians, little aliens who are from/live on Mars.

Secondly, they don’t look human at all, but more like little marshmallow people!

I say “little” because I believe if they were to stand next to a human, they’ll likely be the size of average 1st grade children, with the females being only the size of average 4th grade children. (Tankwoman is clearly taller than her fellow male soldiers)

Thirdly, they’re clearly shown to consume excessive amounts of alcohol and smoke for years without getting drunk and sick. And we even saw John smoking incense in Utah’s official artwork, which is, according to Google, more potent than tabacco.

So, yes, if we did that, we’d be dead, but to John, it’s like sucking a honey stick.

Just more proof they’re aliens, they clearly have strong livers that can filter the excessive amounts of toxins they put in their bodies each day.

But going back to the Mars thing, it makes too much sense because Martian soil is actually toxic, the Tankmen are biologically equip to be resistant to toxins because they have to breathe it in everyday. The alcohol and tobacco just adds to the toxins they ingest everyday living on their home planet.

Also, the fact that this society uses retro Earth tech only deeply fascinates me and very fitting for Martian culture. Because in real life, our space forces are very fascinated with Mars, they were gloming onto it forever. So, it only makes sense for the alien life to be just as fascinated with Earth as we are with their planet. And I imagine in the Tankmen world, Mars is used as a dumping ground for Earth, which is how they get their hands on our stuff. We don’t question it, it’s just aliens enjoying our trash!

And I like it that way because it breaks away from the alien stereotypes that sci-fi has set where they’re those colorful people who live in a planet where their tech is far more advanced than ours, like it would take us eons to be up to speed with them. But the Tankmen are not like how we see aliens, they live a more archaic lifestyle and instead of having highly advanced tech, they have tech that is two decades behind us. I love that!

So, I see the Tankmen series on how this alien species lives their everyday life on their home planet, Mars. And they are deeply fascinated with Earth culture so they incorporate it in their culture.

And as a sci-fi fan, I am deeply fascinated with aliens being so in love with our culture, they incorporate it in their own culture!

Don’t fight with me, that’s just my observation and how I view the Tankmen franchise. And I just want to share my analysis and beliefs to the world!
